Citizen Architect

Citizen Architect profiles Samuel Mockbee, the late architect, MacArthur Foundation “genius,” and founder of Rural Studio, a radical design/build program. Guided by passionate and frank interviews with Mockbee, his peers, and those he has influenced, the film reveals Mockbee’s efforts to engage architecture in issues of poverty, race, education, and good citizenship.
